We are seeking a Cardiac Stress Technician (Exercise Physiologist, EKG Tech, or EMT) to support cardiac nuclear medicine testing in collaboration with our nuclear medicine technologists.

Requirements

ACLS, BLS, IV proficiency, EKG Class or prior fluent knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Essential Functions

Collaborate with Cardiac Nuclear Technologists to address issues at HealthScan accounts and exceed physician and staff expectations. Manage and file patient records for tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Maintain non-nuclear supplies and equipment, ensuring preparedness and safety. Prepare patients for stress testing procedures and perform data entry accurately. Monitor patients during stress testing and apply ACLS algorithms when needed. Set up and monitor 12-lead EKG stress testing, proficient in EKG rhythm identification. Prepare and tear down mobile operations at account sites, maintaining cleanliness and organization. Complete all data entry and paperwork, following established protocols and regulations.

Experience

Minimum one (1) or more years of experience in medical or emergency care settings, with proficiency in IV insertion and EKG interpretation.

Travel Requirement

Up to 50% travel.

Education

Associate degree required.

License/Certification

Demonstrate current competency with relevant certifications and education credits. Maintain current certification in ACLS, BLS, and IV insertion qualification.
